Every sealed SpiceX meal goes through high-pressure processing (HPP) — thousands of pounds of cold-water pressure that inactivates harmful bacteria like Listeria, Salmonella, and E. coli, without heat, freezing, or additives. Your food stays exactly as the chef made it. Just safer, longer.
HPP is a recognized food-safety step: the FDA acknowledged it as an effective alternative to heat pasteurization in 2000, and the USDA recognized its effectiveness against Listeria in ready-to-eat meats in 2003.
Cold pressure extends chilled shelf life to 90 days — two to three times what conventional fresh meals manage — without a single artificial preservative on the label.
Freezing changes texture; thawing loses flavor. SpiceX meals never cross a freeze point — the rice stays fluffy, the chicken stays tender, the sauce stays silky.
HPP shelf-life and safety outcomes vary by recipe and are validated per product at our production facility. Regulatory references describe recognition of high-pressure processing as a category of food-safety technology.
